FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
A. Cremation is affordable and gives options for remembering your loved ones. The ashes of your loved one can be spread in an area they enjoyed or wanted to go. Alternatively, an urn can hold the ashes of your loved one as a reminder of who they were, keeping their memory alive.
Q. So, I’ve decided on cremation. Can I still have a funeral or a viewing?
A. Yes, quite often some sort of viewing precedes the actual cremation. We can assist you with the necessary information for a funeral with a cremation following or a memorial service.
A. Cremation is already more “green” than other practices. Because there is no embalming, casket or vault, there are not as many harmful chemicals released into the environment. Cremated remains are not harmful and can be spread without worrying about damaging the earth.
Q. Why are your prices so much lower than other Indiana funeral and cremation providers?
A. There are several reasons why our prices are the lowest in Central Indiana. Firstly, we have a state-of-the-art, new facility with refrigeration and an on-site crematory. This eliminates the need for embalming and outsourcing of cremation. In addition, we are a family owned and operated business. We care deeply for the families we help, and part of that caring process is to personally handle all aspects of our business.
As one family to another, we understand the need to give you the compassionate care we know you need at a price that you can actually afford.
Q. What if I pre-pay for my cremation with you and then pass away somewhere else?
A. Funds that have been pre-paid are held in an irrevocable trust which can only be used for funeral or cremation arrangements. If you pass away in another state or country, those funds are safe and secure and can be used to pay for your services. We work diligently to make sure that if you need to an outside source due to unforeseen circumstances, we find a comparable local service.
