Our services are designed to meet the needs of every family. We listen to and respect the wishes of all the families we serve. Our experienced staff is dedicated to preserving the dignity and sanctity of the funeral and will guide you through making your choices.
We serve all ethnic and religious groups, and even offer eco-friendly options for those wishing to have “greener” or more environmentally friendly services. ARN is also equipped to provide Cremation Services.
Making the funeral service meaningful to you and your family is our top priority; we have the ability to produce a dvd tribute, enhance the service with favorite musical selections and display meaningful mementos and other items important to the family in our chapel.
Our Facility
Conveniently located just north of I-465 at 11411 North Michigan Road, our 13,000-square-foot facility provides ample meeting space, and a beautiful chapel with abundant parking. View Photo Gallery
CHAPEL SERVICES – Our beautifully decorated chapel is able to seat over 200 people, with a separate family room should one wish for more privacy.
Our parking lot has over 130 spaces, and we have secured over flow parking to accommodate even larger crowds.
A lounge equipped with refrigerator, microwave and coffee service is available for your family to use while visiting our Funeral Home.
OFFSITE SERVICES – In the event the funeral service is being held in an area synagogue or church we will coordinate all aspects of the arrangements.
GRAVESIDE SERVICES - We will make all of the arrangements with the cemetery and conduct graveside services for those who prefer this type of service.
OUT OF TOWN TRANSFERS - Should a death occur out of town we can assist in making all arrangements as well. We have extensive contacts with Funeral Homes throughout North America.
Eco-Friendly Options
Aaron Ruben Nelson Mortuary is the preferred provider for the growing number of people in Central Indiana seeking an eco-friendly, “green” funeral for their loved ones.
These environmentally friendly funerals and burials are accomplished through the proper preparation of the body, without the use of any preservatives or embalming fluids. In the case of an environmentally friendly but a traditional funeral and burial, a biodegradable casket made from natural materials (no plastic or metal), like wood or wicker, is used; the body will be buried in a cemetery that allows either no vault or a vault without a bottom. Jewish Services
We are equipped to adhere to all Jewish law, from the most Traditional Orthodox Jewish to the more contemporary ceremony.
Our experienced staff will guide you through making your choices regarding Jewish burial customs. Our Chevra Kaddisha (Holy Society) provides Tahara (ritual purification). A shomar (watchman) is available upon request. We offer all necessary merchandise including a large selection of orthodox traditional all-wood caskets, tachrichim (burial shrouds), k’ria ribbons and shiva candles.
We can also assist even when a death occurs in a city where there is not a Jewish funeral home.
