Aaryn Jeanine Hearn was born to Lewis E. Hearn III and Andrea M. Ector-Hearn on February 16, 2000 in Fort Campbell, Kentucky. Aaryn began walking at nine months old, then progressed to running two weeks later. She spoke in full complete sentences at one year old, and could read by three. Her love and amazing talent for writing stories began as soon as she could read and write. She would be so excited to share her stories and would light up and be so lively when she read them to family and friends.
Aaryn attended Second Baptist Church Preschool where she shined in a play and at her preschool graduation. She blew everyone away with how poised, confident, and well-spoken she was. She then attended Fishback Creek Public Academy in Indianapolis, Indiana. She spent her middle school years at Dolph Briscoe Middle School in San Antonio, Texas where she loved sleepovers with her friends. They would always be laughing the entire night. She graduated from high school in 2017, a year early, in Anchorage, Alaska. Aaryn was hard-working and had many jobs, but her longest and favorite was at Home 2 Suites where she greeted people with her beautiful smile.
From the moment she was born, she had a caring and loving relationship with her big sister, Ashley. Aaryn and Ashley grew up being best friends. They were always laughing and having the best time. They loved catching fireflies in the summer, taking their dog Lily for walks, and watching movies together. When Aaryn became a big sister at sixteen years old, she loved her little brother, Lincoln, very much.
Aaryn always had a bigger than life, bright, bubbly personality. For years, when she was little, she said she wanted to be a butterfly when she grew up. Aaryn also loved spending time with her Aunt Deanie. They would listen to music, practice dance moves, talk, and just be silly. She loved fashion, shopping, and doing her hair and makeup. She was always listening to music, enjoying good food and loved baking cookies. She was selfless with a generous heart and cherished spending time with her family and friends. She valued her friendships and was a true and loyal friend. Her big bright eyes, beaming smile, and infectious laugh will be missed by all who knew her and loved her.
Aaryn Jeanine Hearn departed this life on October 9, 2020 at the tender age of twenty years, seven months, and twenty-two days. She is preceded in death by her great grandparents and great aunt, Andrea “Deanie” Caldwell.
