Alan Wayne Crouch

Alan Wayne Crouch, 66, of Westfield, Indiana, passed away on September 16th, 2024 surrounded by loving family.

Alan was born June 19th, 1958 in Inglewood, California to Darlene Luella (Raeder) and Richard Gene Crouch. He graduated from West High School in Torrance, California in 1976, then went on to El Camino Community College, earning a degree in Accounting.

Alan had two children, Alayna and Wesley, with his ex-wife, Connie Sue (Helbert), whom he married in 1992. He was also stepfather to her daughter, Lydia, and considered her his daughter for life. Despite divorcing, he and Connie remained good friends until his passing. 

Alan loved music especially from the 1960s and 1970s. He was a huge Beach Boys fan. Alan was very interested in politics. He loved collecting records and coins. Alan also enjoyed stamp collecting - a hobby he passed down to his grandchildren. He enjoyed reading and crossword puzzles as well. 

Alan was a lifelong Christian and had a strong relationship with Jesus Christ. He loved reading and studying Scripture. He enjoyed watching sermons on TV and online as well as attending Mass with his son. 

Alan is survived by his children, Alayna (Don) Brewer and Wesley Crouch; grandchildren, Edwin, Melissa, and Sophia Brewer; former stepdaughter, Lydia (Brandon) Brown and her children, Emma, Mara, and James Brown; friend and ex-wife, Connie Burgess; brother, Steven (Toni) Crouch; and niece, Jennifer (Chad) Conger. 

Preceding Alan in death are his parents, Darlene and Richard Crouch.
