Alan Jay Horwitz

Alan Jay Horwitz passed away March 12, 2025, at the age of 59. Alan is survived by his parents, Leon and Joan Horwitz, and sister, Anita Silverman. 

Alan will be remembered by his smile that could light up a room. Although he could not speak, he always let people know he was happy to see them. When Alan was young, he participated in the Special Olympics. 

Later in life, he enjoyed all the activities Hooverwood had to offer. Alan will be missed by all those whole lives he touched. Donations in memory of Alan can be made to Special Olympics Indiana.

A graveside service will be held at 1 PM on Friday, March 14, 2025, at Beth El Zedeck North Cemetery in Fishers, Indiana. The family will also be sitting shiva following the burial at the Silverman residence until 4 PM. The family will also be sitting on Saturday from 7 - 9 PM at the Horwitz residence.
