Alice Laura Yungk,
89 of Zionsville, passed away January 26, 2014. She was born in Peyton Rock, AL on February 24, 1924 and is the last surviving child of James and Matilda Jones. After high school, Alice worked as a telephone operator for Bell Telephone Company until she married in 1949.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Frank Yungk; and daughter, Barbara Kowlowitz. Alice is survived by grandchildren, Allison and Russell Kowlowitz.
Visitation will be held at the Aaron Ruben Nelson Mortuary, 11411 North Michigan Rd, on Saturday, February 1, 2014 from 12-2 PM, with a service to follow. Burial will follow in Washington Park North Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Susan G. Komen.
