Anne C. Gent
65, of Indianapolis, passed away on August 29, 2014. Anne was born on June 27, 1949, in Erie, PA to John and Emily (O'Brien) Gent.
She was a graduate of Mercyhurst High School in 1967. She graduated from the University of Michigan with a B.A. in history in 1971. Anne also received masters degrees from Indiana University in library sciences and in accounting. Anne taught school and was a school librarian, prior to becoming a CPA and a financial manager.
Anne was preceded in death by her parents, John and Emily Gent. She is survived by her loving partner, Dean Mellinger; her siblings John Gent, Cathleen Gent (Fran Huntoon), Joan Gent Bilharz (Robert Bilharz), and David Gent (Wendy Gent); nephew Stephan Bilharz and niece Betsy Bilharz. She was a dear and loyal friend to many and will be missed by all.
