Anyuta Rak,
91 of Indianapolis, passed away May 25, 2015. She was born in the Ukraine to Michael and Ida Kaiser Rak on February 2, 1924. After receiving her Bachelor's degree in literature from The University of Uzbekistan, Anyuta taught high school students and tutored them in preparation for college.
She is survived by her daughter, Ellen Zagarjevski; son, Alex Kotlyar; sister, Maria Rak; grandchildren, Nick and Andrew Zagarjevski, Yana (Robert) Bray; and Gregory and Vera Kotlyar; and five great-grandchildren. Anyuta was preceded in death by her husband, Sergey Kotlyar.
Funeral services will be held at the Aaron Ruben Nelson Mortuary on Friday, May 29th at 11 AM. Burial will follow in Congregation Beth-El Zedeck North Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Hooverwood.
