April Lynn Wilson

April Wilson, born April Lynn DeWitt in Muncie, Indiana on April 15, 1953, died peacefully in the early morning hours on January 8th, 2012, surrounded by her family.
April spent her life helping and serving others. Throughout her life she worked in several nursing homes. For a time she was a QMA and passed medicines to the residents. In recent years she was a Assistant Activity Director at Albany Health Care. She loved her job and brought her poodle, Fancy, with her as a therapy dog. She and Fancy walked the halls and loved on the residents.
April is survived by her brother, Greg DeWitt and his wife, Loretta; her two sons, Michael and Daniel; as well as her five grandchildren, Christopher, Brandon, Kaleb, Noah, and Justin.
Her smile and laugh will be missed greatly. She loved the Lord, and we take comfort in knowing that she is in heaven.
A memorial service will be held at Liberty Baptist Church, 10450 E. County Road 450 North, Indianapolis, IN 46234 on Friday evening at 7PM.
