Armond L. Alstad,
77, of Indianapolis, passed away on March 10, 2017. Armond was born in Fargo, North Dakota on September 29, 1939 to Oscar and Lorraine Alstad. He received his Bachelor of Science in Engineering from North Dakota State University and his MBA from University of Chicago. He proudly served in the US Army. Armond retired as Plant Manager at Herff Jones in 1994.
His family was the light of his life. He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Ruth Flanders Alstad; children, Eric Alstad of Indianapolis, Amy (Dave) Woods of Indianapolis, and Beth (Thomas) Helm of Zionsville; grandchildren, Amanda and Ashley Woods, Caity and Ava Helm, and Evan and Emerson Alstad; two great-grandchildren; sister, Lynnette (Hugh) Bock; mother-in-law, Harriet Flanders; special aunties, uncle, nephews, nieces, cousins and best doggie, Pearl. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Adrien Alstad.
Visitation will be held from 2 - 4 PM, with a memorial service from 4-5 PM, Saturday, March 18, 2017 at ARN Funeral & Cremation Services, 11411 N. Michigan Road, Zionsville, IN 46077.
