Astrid B. Martens,
66 of Zionsville passed away December 25, 2011. She was born in Germany on September 26, 1945. Astrid was an excellent chef and owned Cafe Europa on North Shadeland Ave for 15 years. She was a member of German liederkranz.
Astrid is survived by her husband, Gerhard Martens; children, Simone Boldt Borger (Gerry) and Maxwell James Donahue, Jr.; stepson, Thomas Martens (Jenefer); nine grandchildren; two brothers; and many loving friends.
Visitation will be held at the Aaron Ruben Nelson Mortuary, 11411 N. Michigan Rd., on Thursday, December 29th from 2-3 pm with a memorial service at 3 PM.
