Barbara Ann Pugh Hancock,
She was born May 2, 1954 in Indianapolis to Alfred and Wilma Pugh. Barbara passed away January 19, 2015 after a 10 month battle with cancer.
She was a 1972 graduate of Carmel High School where she was a member of the tennis and swim team. Barbara maintained both agent and broker's real estate licenses and also had her own office cleaning company. Barbara enjoyed vegetable and flower gardening. She also had a fondness for animals which she depicted by her rock painting. Barbara even taught an art class at the Zionsville library.
Survivors include her loving husband of 39 years, John; brother, Daniel Pugh; sisters, Janet Pugh and Susanne Cox; two step-children, Jim (Kelly) Hancock and Kimberly Dant; and grandchildren, Cody Hancock, and Abraham and Adia Dant.
A Celebration of Life service will be held at a later date. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Vincent Hospital on 86th Street or St. Vincent Hospice.
