Becky Cohen Profeta,
85 years of age, life time resident of Indianapolis, passed away on April 10, 2015. Becky was born on December 8, 1929 to the late Samuel and Regina Cohen. She was a graduate of Manuel High School.
Becky worked in various sales positions during her career with the last ten years at Gidding-Jenny at the Fashion Mall, where she was a sales associate.
She is survived by her beloved family; her sons, Sam and Louis A. Profeta; daughter, Sharon; brothers, Leon Cohen of California and Morris Cohen of Florida; grandchildren Michelle and David; niece Renee Nocera and many additional nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband David Profeta, sisters, Fritz Saltiel, Lee Isenberg and Bella Cohen and brother, Gilbert Cohen.
Becky was a long time active member of Congregation Etz Chaim and the Deborah Sisterhood. In addition she loved reading, cooking and gardening.
A funeral will be held at Aaron-Ruben-Nelson Mortuary on Monday, April 13,2015 at 11:00 a.m. with burial following in Etz Chaim Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association or Congregation Etz Chaim cemetery fund or the building fund.
