Ben Reck
99 years of age, long time resident of Indianapolis and South Bend, passed away September 28, 2013.
Ben was active with B'nai Brith in the 40's and 50's and was an officer with the South Bend Bowling Association for over 20 years. He was a member of Congregation Beth-El Zedeck and a 20 year member of the Indianapolis Chevra Kaddisha.
He is survived by his long time companion Eunice Goldshine and his devoted son Sam; his grandsons, Charles and Sean and great grandchildren, Samantha, Matthew and Isaiah.
His wives Charlotte R. Reck and Bea Maltzman Reck preceded him in death.
Graveside serves will be held in Hebrew Orthodox Cemetery on Tuesday at 2:00pm.
Memorial contributions may be made to City of Hope. He will be deeply missed by those that knew and loved him.
