Betty B. Chapman
91, of Indianapolis, passed away April 26, 2016. She was born in Fulton, MI at her Grandmother Snyder's home on May 25, 1924 to Arthur and Helen (Howes) Snyder. Betty was the valedictorian of Marshall High School's class of 1942. After attending Western Michigan College, she worked for Michigan Bell and Calhoun County Circuit Court until she married the love of her life, the late Robert G. Chapman. Betty also worked in administration for Washington Twp. Schools for 45 years, serving the school system from 1968-2013.
Betty was a member of the Junior League of Battle Creek, The Cathedral Church of St. Edward the Confessor of the Anglican Catholic Church, and board member of the Hollis Adams Foundation.
She is survived by sons, John (Jamie) Chapman and Curt (Kristen) Chapman; grandchildren, Jon, Josh (Jade), Sarah, Meghan (David), Kate, and David; and great-grandson, Carter.
