Beverly Lee (Barnes) McAdams
73, of New Ross, passed away on April 7, 2021. She was born to Arthur R. and Marie G. Barnes on July 24, 1947 in Indianapolis, IN. Beverly spent her career as a teacher’s aid working with special needs children at Granville Wells Elementary and Western Boone High School and later as a realtor with Action Realty.
Bev was an avid animal lover but had a special kinship with her dogs. She loved to spend time training and walking her dogs around her property. She was an active member the Amo Conservation Bird Dog Club and N.S.T.R.A. (National Shoot To Retrieve Association). In 2005, she became the first woman to win the National Champion of Champions trial with her beloved dog Fannie.
Bev is survived by her devoted husband of 55 years, James McAdams; their two daughters Dawn (James) McAdams-Wallace of New Ross, IN and Tina McAdams of Richland Center, WI.
A memorial gathering will be held at A.R.N. Funeral & Cremation Services, 11411 N. Michigan Rd. Zionsville, on Thursday, April 15th, 2021 from 1-4 PM.
