Bonnie Autumn (Neumeyer) Goodman,
96 1/2 and a lifelong resident of Indianapolis, passed away August 4, 2014. She was born November 27, 1917 to Henry and Florence Neumeyer and graduated from Washington High School. Later, Bonnie was hired at Goodman's Department Store by the future love of her life, Bernard. The two dated, Bernie went to war, and upon returning they married in 1950. After Bernie's death, Bonnie continued to run the family shoe store, Goodman's Shoes, alongside her youngest son, Gary.
Bonnie was preceded in death by her infant son, David; brother, Reese; and sisters, June and Margaret. She is survived by her children, Beth Ann (McCurley) Greene, Jay Goodman, and Gary (Patty) Goodman; and grandchildren, Bernard and Abigail.
Graveside services will be held at Congregation Beth-El Zedeck North Cemetery on Wednesday, August 6th at 2PM. Memorial contributions may be made to the St. Vincent Hospice.
