Booker T. Carter Jr.

Mr. Booker T. Carter Jr., 88 transitioned form this earth on the night of December 14, 2017. He was born in Indianapolis, Indiana on June 9, 1929.

His father, Booker T. Carter, mother, Minnie Hockett-Brewer, brother, Napoleon Carter, sisters, Thelma Franklin and Carolyn Carter preceded him in death. Booker attended Indianapolis Public Schools. He worked at B&B auto and Thomas and Skinners. He was a Korean War Veteran.

Booker loved watching the Pacer games with his brothers. He also enjoyed many other sports. He enjoyed telling jokes and making others laugh. Booker had a special relationship with the staff at American Senior Living on Capital Avenue.

Booker was surrounded by many loved ones as he departed this life. He leaves to cherish his memory siblings, Doris Beckwith, Roland Brewer, Wanda Smith, Victor Brewer and a host of nephews, nieces and friends.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.
