Brian Thomas Krespach, 31, of Indianapolis, IN, passed away on January 25, 2017. He was born on March 12,1985. Survived by loving parents, Scott and Mary Krespach; sisters, Stephanie Krespach (Graham Barras) and Katherine (Isaac) Oglesby; nephews, Evan Oglesby, Zakary Oglesby, Mason Oglesby, and Giovanni Barras; grandmothers, Ada P. Reilly, Virginia Scherer, and Carol Krespach; aunts, Kathleen Damisch, Eileen (Howard) Guerrieri, Linda Davidson, Karen (Paul) Blaskis, and Tammy (John) Davis; uncles, Kelly Krespach, and Tommy (Beth) Scholl; and many first and second cousins. He was preceded in death by great-grandmothers, Sally Krespach and Anne Davidson; grandfathers, Thomas Reilly, Roy Krespach, and Clark Scherer; uncle, Ned Davidson; and dear friends, Katie Hamilton Giehll and her son, Raymond Giehll.
Brian was a graduate of Cathedral High School, 2003. He was an active participant in many school plays, building sets and helping with the light and sound. Brian was an active participant in the Sons of the American Legion. He was an avid bowler. After high school, Brian pursued a life long dream of becoming a Chef at the Chef's Academy. He graduated at the top of his class and quickly excelled. He worked as a line cook at Michael's Southshore Restaurant. Brian was an Executive Chef at Oh Yumm! Bistro for two years. He was currently working at Woodstock Country Club as a Sous Chef.
Brian had a contagious personality, that sparked smiles to everyone he met. He was a great friend to have. Those close to him remember his smile, his generous heart, his humor and willingness to lend a helping hand. He will be missed every single day.
Services will be held on Saturday, February 4th, 1 - 4 pm, ARN Mortuary, 11411 N. Michigan Rd. A Celebration of Life will follow from 6 - 9 pm at American Legion Post #495, 8725 E. 38th St. We ask those who come to bring a memory to write on the cards provided and share with family. This will help Brian's spirit live on for years to come. Contributions can be made to CWF- Child Welfare Foundation.
