Carlos Isaac Goldberg

Carlos Isaac Goldberg November 1, 1937 - February 16, 2025

Carlos Goldberg was born in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. His parents immigrated from Poland. In his teens, Carlos went to New York City to study at a Yeshiva. Always an excellent student, he shifted from rabbinical studies to get a BA and MA from Brooklyn College and a PhD in social psychology from City University of NY. 

Judiasim remained an important part of Carlos' spiritual and intellectual life.

In 1969, Carlos became a faculty member in the Psychology Department at Indiana University Purdue University at Indianapolis. He retired in 2001. 

Carlos was preceded in death by his brother, Yosef.

He is survived by his family in Israel, including his sister Shana and nephews, Tanya, Amichai, Hagai, and Naftali.
