Carlos Montes Robles

Carlos Montes Robles, long time resident of Indianapolis, passed away with his beloved family by his side in the early morning hours of December 28, 2023.

Carlos was born in San Jose, Iturbide, Mexico on April 28, 1948, to Carlos and Carmen Montes Robles.

He came to America and built a beautiful life with his wife of almost 55 years, Lorena, who survives him.

Carlos worked for 19 years at Wilbert Burial Vault Company, running the concrete hopper.  Later he worked as a custodian for IPS at the Sidener Academy.

He and Lorena attended Wallace Street Church.

He is also survived by his daughter, Carmen Brant (Tommy Smith); and grandchildren, Isaiah Smith, Tyler Smith and Kaylie Smith and siblings, Richardo, Sylvia, Rosa and Letty.

A celebration of life will be held in the summer.  Memorial contributions may be made to Riley Hospital for Children.
