Carol Weil Weisman

Carol Weil Weisman, 95, of Zionsville, passed away peacefully on July 26, 2024. She was born in Aurora, Illinois to the late Milton and Corinne Weil on June 10, 1929. She married Dr. Mel Weisman. She worked in retail clothing stores in Chicago, IL, Decatur, IN and Ft. Wayne, IN.  

 She was a dedicated mother, wife, and friend. She was known for her kindness, work ethic and grateful spirit. Most of all she will be remembered for her strong emphasis on family values. 

She was preceded in death by her husband, Melvin Weisman; as well as her parents; and her sister, Barbara Kaufmann. Carol is survived by her children, Jeff Weisman (Jane), Mindy Horvath (Doyt Ladd), Diane Healey (Patrick), and Arthur Weisman (Debbie); seven grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. 

 The family would like to express their gratitude to the entire staff of Hoosier Village for their many years of care and friendship for Carol. As well, a heartfelt thanks to Chris from AseraCare for her hospice care and expertise.

 No funeral services will be held. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that any donations be made to the donor’s charity of choice.
