Celia Yosha
was born on September 8, 1928 and died peacefully on March 14 in St. Petersburg, FL. She was born and raised in Indianapolis with her sisters, Sally, Molly, Esther, Babs and Mary and brother, Al. Celia was married 51 years to Michael Yosha until his death in 2000. She raised a family and worked in the family sign business in Broad Ripple until retiring with Mike to Florida where she lived for more than 20 years. Celia was a member of the Etz Chaim Sephardic Jewish community.
Celia is survived by her daughter, Dr. Sandra Yosha of Tampa, Florida; son, David Yosha and wife Dorothy Henckel; brother, Al Passo and wife Lee; grandson, Galen Meyers; granddaughter, Dr. Melissa Meyers and husband Dan Rosenbloom; as well as many nieces and nephews across the country.
Graveside services will be held at Etz Chaim Cemetery (entrance located on West St. just south of Raymond St.) on Friday, March 18th, at 2PM. A gathering for family and friends will be held on Friday and Saturday evenings at 6 PM at the Homewood Suites, 2501 E 86th St, Indianapolis, IN 46240.
