Charles Farnsworth, a beloved husband, father, and grandfather, passed away peacefully in his sleep with family by his side on October 17, 2024, leaving a legacy of love and cherished memories that will forever echo in the hearts of those who knew him. Into a world were compassion met diligence, Charles dedicated his life to his family and his community, embodying virtues of kindness, generosity, and unwavering support.

Charles was born on December 11, 1942 to the late Russell William and Bertha Mae(Chittester) Farnsworth in Kane, PA. Shortly after high school, he went on to move to the Indianapolis area, where he would settle his roots and raised his own family. On August 8, 1970 with the blessing of Ebert and Mary Christian he married the love of his life Kathleen and together they shared 54 beautiful years of marriage. Together they raised their two daughters Misty and Maria, and son Brian.

He is survived by his adoring wife Katheleen Sue (Christian) Farnsworth, whose partnership with Charles was marked by deep understanding and shared dreams. Together, they nurtured a family rooted in love and values. Their children, Misty (David) Farnsworth, Maria (Kishor) Pandya, and Brian (Anna) Farnsworth are blessed to have a father whose wisdom guided them through life’s challenges, instilling in them the importance of perseverance and integrity. Charles (Big Grandpa) took great joy in his role as a grandfather to Ajay, Bailyn, and Dev, often filling their days with stories, laughter, and lessons that only a devoted grandfather can impart.

Charles’s heart carried a sorrowed corner for his late daughter, Misty Farnsworth, whose untimely departure left an indelible mark on his soul. The bond that they shared transcended the veil of life and continues to resonate in the family’s collective memory. A poignant reminder of the love that binds them as they navigate through grief and celebration side by side the circle of life.
