Charles E. Sydney,
86 of Indianapolis, passed away August 3, 2016. He was born in Indianapolis on November 18, 1929 to Sidney O. Sydney and Eva (Kroot) Sydney. After graduating from Kemper Military High School, Charles attended Southern Methodist University. He worked for a family owned business, K & F Industries, for almost 50 years.
Charles was a former member of Congregation Beth-El Zedeck; and supported the Boy Scouts of America and the Humane Society. He loved to dance and entered many dance contests. He also worked out regularly at Hoffmeister's Gym and followed all sports. Charles especially enjoyed attending Butler basketball games.
He will always be remembered as a gentle, and very kind man.
Charles is survived by his friend and companion, Carol Walker; and his numerous cousins with whom he loved spending time.
Graveside services will be held at Congregation Beth-El Zedeck South Cemetery on Monday, August 8th at 11 AM. Arrangements entrusted to A.R.N. Funeral & Cremation Services.
