After 70 years of marriage, Gladys Marilyn (May) Spurgeon (88) and Charles W. Spurgeon (95) passed away within a month of each other on November 22nd and December 21st respectively.  Both were born in Indianapolis and graduates of George Washington High School.  Charles served in the United States Army and the pair were married January 27, 1949.  Together they owned and operated Spurgeon Insurance Agency – working side by side most of their lives.

They are survived by their sons, John (Tim Overmyer) Spurgeon and James (Angela) Spurgeon.

Services will be held privately.  Interment will be in Floral Park Cemetery.
