Christine Lynn (Bobbett) Brant

Christine Lynn Brant, age 63 of Indianapolis, IN passed away December 26, 2020 after a month long battle against COVID-19 which caused too much damage to her lungs.

Born November 25, 1957 to Herb & Delpha Bobbett, she has three younger sisters Shawn, Karen and Shelley. Christy enjoyed many adventures with family and friends while growing up.

She attended Ladywood St. Agnes High School and graduated from the University of Evansville in 1979. After graduation she moved to New York to pursue a career in nursing. On returning to Indiana in the summer of 1983 she started working at St Vincent Hospital Indianapolis.

She met her future husband in the fall of 1983. Bill & Christy were married September 22, 1984 and had two children, Jamie and Michael Brant.

She worked for St Vincent Hospital for more than thirty five years as a nurse in many roles but most prominently in the OR on the cardiovascular team. She spent the last three years working for DCI providing dialysis despite treating Covid positive patients for the last year. She was a brave and compassionate nurse, a hero till the end.

Services will be held at ARN Mortuary and Cremation Services, 11411 North Michigan Rd, on Saturday, January 2, 2021. Visitation will be from 12pm-2pm followed by funeral service from 2pm-3pm.
