Clifford T. Rubenstein

65, of Carmel, passed away on May 21, 2019. Cliff was born on June 16, 1953 in Newark, NJ to the late Mayer and Fay Rubinstein. He was a graduate of Rochester University, received his master's degree from Ohio University and his Law degree from Indiana University where he graduated Magna Cum Laude and made Law Review.

Cliff moved to Indianapolis in 1978 to serve as Business Manager for the Indianapolis Indians organization. From 1983-1986 he owned and operated Buckingham Pallets, selling the business to attend law school. Cliff worked for Dann, Pecar Law; and then Maurer, Rifkin & Hill (later renamed Rifkin, Blanck & Rubenstein).

Cliff was a member of Indianapolis Hebrew Congregation, past president of the Temple Brotherhood, and was instrumental in the formation of RecycleForce, serving as a board member and was later named Chairman Emeritus. Cliff is the patent holder and obtained the trademark for Tinkle Magic, a toilet training product that was sold locally.

Survivors include his wife, Catherine; daughters, Rachel (Ryan) Hickey, Jessica (Brent) Knudsen and Gabrielle Rubenstein; grandchildren, Jackson, Brynn and Riley Knudsen; sister, Lynn (Seth) Abraham; and brothers, Don and Bruce Rubenstein.

Funeral services will be held on June 4, 2019 at 11:00 AM at Indianapolis Hebrew Congregation, 6501 N. Meridian Street, Indianapolis, IN 46260. Burial will follow in IHC North Cemetery.

The family will proceed to the Rubenstein residence following the burial and will be sitting shiva until 5 PM.
