Connie Sue (McMillan) Cain departed this world in the arms of an angel on July 9, 2014.
Connie was born October 23,1952 to Carl and Hazel (Throckmorton) McMillan in Danville, Va.
She met the love of her life Lewis Cain Jr., and they married on March 28, 1970. They shared 44 years together, living in Boone County, IN and raised three children.
Connie enjoyed bingo, card games, fishing, Colts football and spending time with loved ones.
She is survived by her husband, Lewis; sister, Pamela McMillan; three daughters, Melanie (Joe) Cain-Coppess, Billi Jo Detty, and Carla Cain; five grandchildren, Jessica Cain, Elizabeth, Eli, and Abby Lee Detty, and Piper Wampler; and two step-grandchildren, Ariel Coppess and Courtney Detty. She also leaves behind a large extended family and many that she referred to as her adopted family.
Per Connie's wishes, the family will be hosting a Celebration of Life gathering on August 9 at noon at her daughter's home in Advance, IN.
Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society or the American Heart and Lung Association. Arrangements entrusted to A.R.N. Funeral & Cremation Services.
