Dallas Heith Lien died on December 11, 2013 in Indianapolis at the age of 90. He was a former Brown County resident who lived in Sun City, Arizona.
He was born March 10, 1923 in Aberdeen, South Dakota. He served in the Army Communications Corps during World War II. After the war, he earned his bachelor of science in physics from Purdue University, then worked as an engineer for the Western Electric Corporation in Indianapolis. He was married to the former Eleanor Ruth Humke with three children. He spent many years as a Brown County resident before moving to Sun City, Arizona.
Survivors include his wife, Eleanor Lien; his three sons, Andrew Lien, Benjamin Lien and Craig Lien; his sister, Anita Smith; and three grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents and two sisters.
