Darlene Gail Recht Scott

Darlene Gail Recht Scott passed away unexpectedly on January 11, 2025.  Darlene was born on January 7, 1966, in Royal Oak, Michigan.  She graduated from Berkeley High School in Berkley, Michigan, and Indiana University.

Darlene enjoyed maintaining her long-established friendships through Facebook and sharing pictures of her beloved family.  She deeply loved animals, especially cats, and enjoyed watching the television show Big Brother.

Darlene is survived by her father, Marvin Recht; her sister, Judi (Jeff) Vaught; her nieces, Courtney Popelier and Alexa Vaught; her three great-nephews, Eli, Ethan, and Cooper; and her many close friends and extended family members.  She was preceded in death by her mother Lois in 2006.

The service will be private. The family invites messages of condolence on this obituary page but asks for privacy during this time.
