Darryl Alan Rudich

A longtime resident of Indianapolis, passed away unexpectedly on October 25, 2024. Darryl was born in Pittsburgh, PA on March 31, 1963, to the late Irwin “Rudy” Rudich and Sharon Levitt Rudich. He moved to Indianapolis at a young age, and quickly established himself as a Hoosier. Darryl attended Northview Middle School, North Central High School and Indiana University. Sports were integral to his life. He was on the North Central Wrestling team, earning State Runner-Up in his weight class. He continued wrestling at Indiana University. Darryl made friends through out his life, that were the fabric of his life. He enjoyed IU Football, never missing a home game and tailgate. He coached youth softball and wrestling and played on many teams himself over the years.

Darryl is survived by his cherished daughter, Meredith Rudich and by his brother, Michael Rudich and cousin, Kim Kerner.

His parents preceded him in death.

A visitation will be held on Friday, November 1, 2024, from 10-11am, with memorial services beginning at 11: 00 am at Aaron-Ruben-Nelson Funeral Home, 11411 N. Michigan Road, Zionsville, IN 46077.

The family has asked that there be no flowers, please if inclined, donate to American Diabetes Association.
