Darwin Dwayne Ferguson,
45 of Carmel, passed away February 28, 2014. He was born in Gary, IN on March 15, 1968 to Eugene and Cheryl Ferguson. After graduating from high school, Darwin worked for Marsh and Kroger. He proudly served his country in the United States Army. He was a gentle soul who's compassion for life was inspiring. Darwin loved his country and enjoyed grilling out and watching the Bulls, Cubs, and Bears.
He is survived by his companion of nine years, LuAnna Stephens; children, Bria, Taylor and Valerie Ferguson; parents; brothers, Derek and Doug Ferguson; and sisters, Louwana and Waylonda. Darwin was preceded in death by his sister, Kim Ferguson. He was a devoted father and friend.
A memorial service will be held at the Aaron Ruben Nelson Mortuary, 11411 North Michigan Rd, on Friday, March 7th at 1 PM. Visitation will be held from 11 AM until the time of the service.
