David Geraldson Chernoff

David Geraldson Chernoff,

63, of Carmel, passed away December 12, 2021.  He was born in Hartford, Connecticut on October 20, 1958 to Gerald and Lois Chernoff.  David earned his Bachelor’s degree in marketing at Miami University of Ohio and his MBA at University of Miami.  He worked in the finance industry for almost 35 years.

David will be remembered as a strong-willed man and a loving and supportive father.  His sons were of utmost importance to him. He always encouraged them to follow their dreams and goals while also wholeheartedly supporting their decisions.  David was always there to lend a helping hand to anyone in need and for this reason he was beloved by his neighbors.  His dog Marvin was a bright spot in David’s life.

David is survived by his mother, Lois Chernoff; sons, Andrew, Michael and Matthew Chernoff; and sisters, Barbara (Jeff) Goldstein and Daryl (Marc) Geiger.

Services will be held Thursday, December 16th at 10:30 AM at Aaron Ruben Nelson Mortuary, 11411 North Michigan Road.  Memorial contributions may be made to the National Kidney Foundation.
