David Paul Ewing, 61 of Indianapolis passed away August 4, 2012. He was born in Pittsburgh, PA on July 21, 1951 to Robert and Rita Ewing. David received his Bachelor's degree from Duquesne University in 1973 and his Master's degree from North Carolina State in 1975. He taught Business and Technical Communication as well as English at Indiana University-Purdue University of Indianapolis. David had attended Purdue University in pursuance of a Doctorate and had also taught Business and Technical Communications at that university.
He is survived by his loving family: wife, Sheila; sisters, Kathy (Jesse) Wallace, Mary Beth (Tim) Kasel, Rita (Bonnie) Ewing; and Janet (Tim) Merriman; and brothers, Robert (Toni) Ewing, Mark (Ruth) Ewing, Bill Ewing, and Thomas (Michelle) Ewing.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Indianapolis Humane Society.
Arrangements entrusted to A.R.N. Cremation Services.
