David Leroy Pollard, 78, of Indianapolis, passed away June 19, 2019. He was born June 29th, 1940 in Carmel, Indiana. David worked at Penske Automotive as a parts salesman for 39 years.
He proudly served in the Army and Army Reserves for a total of 8 years and loved anything military. David enjoyed flea markets, old coins, photography, old guns and old cars and car shows. One of his lifetime ambition was to pan for gold in Montana, but he wasn’t able to fulfill that dream. He was a member at First Assembly of God, Danville Indiana.
David was a devoted husband, father and grandfather. He married Elizabeth M. Bartlett on June 18, 1962; and she proceeded him in death on October 10, 2015. He also lost his sons, Dale A. Pollard (2013) and Vaughn A. Pollard (2018).
David leaves behind to cherish his memory his daughters, Melissa A. (Frank) Olsen and Dawn E. Adams; 11 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.
