David Joseph Rudyj, 44 of Indianapolis passed away October 1, 2015. He was born in Chicago, IL to Bohdan (Bob) and Jean Rudyj on May 12, 1971.
Dave will always be remembered as a beloved husband to Amanda Rudyj; devoted son to Jean Stanton and son-in-law of Rita Russum; dear brother to Amanda Hajakian, Bud (Deb) Stanton, the late Tanya Brooks and brother-in-law to Tim Brooks and Richard (April) Russum. He was the cherished nephew of Rae (Wayne) Kipper, Irene Adams, Mary (Larry) Paez, and Tony Nebesny; loving cousin of Donna, Anthony, Anita, Kelly, Steven, Roxanne and Christopher; caring uncle to Hannah, Ross, Jacob, Nicholas, Zorra and Zak, as well as surrogate uncle to many "nieces and nephews." Dave also had many close friends, including special childhood friends, Terry, Am, and Rick. Dave was preceded in death by his father, Bohdan Rudyj; sister, Tanya Brooks; and step-father, Chuck Stanton.
Dave ran ROCO Productions Studio for over eight years and loved working with music. He also enjoyed hunting, fishing, homemade fireworks, riding his motorcycle, and spending time with his dogs. Dave was known for his great sense of humor and his ability to build anything.
Funeral Services will be held at A.R.N. Funeral & Cremation Services, 11411 North Michigan Rd., on Monday, October 5th at 12pm. Visitation will be held Sunday from 3-6pm and from 10am until the time of service on Monday.
