Dean R. Templin

Dean R. Templin, lifelong resident of Indianapolis, Indiana passed away on December 24, 2023, at the age of 90.
Dean was born on September 20, 1933, to Perry and Hazel Templin.  He was a graduate of Pike High School, attended Butler University and proudly served in the United States Army.

Dean spent his career in sales, working for Tenneco Automotive selling automotive parts.  He was recognized throughout his career by Napa Auto Parts for his achievements.

An avid golfer and sports enthusiast, Dean loved watching his grandchildren compete in their various sporting endeavors.  He was a doting grandfather.

He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Marilyn Glick Templin; children, Susan (David) Clark, Sally (Fred) Cuthbert, and Daniel (Laura) Templin; grandchildren, Drew and Jenna Clark; Matt and Emily Clark, Molly and Wes Reuille, Quinn Cuthbert, Bailey Templin and Trey Templin, and four great grandchildren.

There will be no services. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, www.stjude.org .
