Deirdre Eileen Endsley, 70, passed away from complications of coronavirus on September 13, 2022. She was born in Indianapolis to the Hon. J. Patrick Endsley and Eleanor L. Endsley on January 28, 1952. She went to St. Lawrence grade school and attended Indiana University after graduating from Lawrence Central High School in 1970.
Deirdre was retired from a government service career in the U.S. Attorney’s Office in Indianapolis. She was a member of the Mud Creek Players Theater group and performed several character roles there during the 1970s and 80s.
Deirdre enjoyed gardening, Karaoke and games, especially bingo with her friends and neighbors at Robin Run Village. She was a sci-fi buff and loved reading Harry Potter and Lord of the Rings. Deirdre had a quick wit and a great sense of humor. Deirdre doted on her cats and rescued several during her lifetime.
She is survived by three sisters, Nancy Endsley (Vince Wagner) of Indianapolis, Indiana; Kathleen Miroslavich (George/“Bud”) of Denver, Colorado; and Rosemary Kemp of Deltona, Florida; brother Kevin Endsley (Kerry Green) of Houston, Texas; nephews Joshua Meeks (Amy) and Ryan Endsley, both of Austin, Texas; and grand-nephews Henry, Nathaniel and Asher Meeks of Austin, Texas.
