Diana Lynn EtsHokin, 78, of Indianapolis, passed away on April 24, 2024. She was born in Chicago, Illinois to the late Luery and Ethel EtsHokin on February 19, 1946. Diana earned her Bachelor’s degree from Indiana University and Master’s degree from Butler University. After a career as an educator and trainer, she became a licensed therapist and owned her own private practice.
She will be remembered for her love of her family, friends, and her dogs. Diana was also passionate about fighting for women’s rights. Her favorite pastimes included Jazzercise, rooting for the Indiana Hoosiers, going to the movies, and going out to brunch.
Diana is survived by her daughter, Lee Sider; long-time partner, John Keil; niece, Ellen (Aman Daro) Schwerin; great nephew, Zack Schwerin-Daro; and her beloved dog, Winnie. She was preceded in death by her parents; and sister, Susan Lila Stone.
A Memorial Service will be held at Aaron-Ruben-Nelson Mortuary, 11411 North Michigan Road, Zionsville, IN 46077 on Sunday, April 28th from 12 - 3 PM; visitation will be held before and after a short service to start at 1pm.
