Diana H. Hawkins

Diana "Dee" H. Hawkins,

87, of Zionsville, IN passed away on September 22nd, 2016 due to complications from Alzheimer's. She was born on April 22, 1929 in Euclid, OH to George J. and Gwendlyn Hawkey.

Dee graduated from Euclid Central H.S. and Connecticut College. After raising three children as an active Coast Guard wife, she became a certified kitchen and bath designer and ran her own design company for 20 years. But her greatest passion in life can be best summed up by how a dear friend would introduce her, "This is Dee, she's a dancer!"

Dee was preceded in death by her parents; her brother, Timothy S. Hawkey; and her daughter, Gwen H. McDonald. She is survived by her two sons, Steven J. (Jeannie) Hawkins of Texas and Thomas E. (Julie) Hawkins of Indianapolis; five grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
