Diana "Dede" Richardson Wright

64 years of age, of Indianapolis, went home to Jesus on December 19, 2016.

Dede was a 1970 graduate of Warren Central High School. She was a highly recognized insurance agent specializing in personal coverage and held the designation of Certified Insurance Counselor. Dede had worked for Alexander and Alexander, Conner Agency and NBD Insurance spanning over 26 years. She will be fondly remembered, and deeply missed, by her clients and coworkers.

She was a former board member of the following organizations: Warren Township Football Club, Irvington Little League, and Parents without Partners East. She was awarded the Single Parent of the Year Award in both 1981 and 1982. Dede was a ‘coupon queen' and was a member of Kroger Senior Coupon Club.

She is survived by her husband, Ernest; son, Matt (Jordan) Richardson; daughter, Shasta Richardson; grandchildren, Madison, Jaidan, and Campbell; sister, Linda Sue (Tom) Marcum; niece, Melisa Benefiel; and great niece, Ava. She was preceded in death by her parents, her premature baby, and granddaughter, Heavenly.

A memorial service will be held at Feeney Hornak, 1307 N. Shadeland Ave., on Friday, December 23rd at 7 PM with Dennis Carnes officiating. Friends may call from 4 PM until the time of the service. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Dennis Carnes Ministries.
