Dina Kheynis

Dina Kheynis,

70, of Carmel, passed away December 20, 2018. She was the daughter of Solomon and Sofiya Kopelevich and was born in Kiev, Ukraine on March 27, 1948. She moved to Indianapolis with her family in 1990. Dina worked for many years as an accountant and several years as a licensed beautician. After retirement, she volunteered at the Carmel Library and helped seniors complete their taxes. She loved traveling, especially to the beach. At home she enjoyed cooking, sewing, knitting, and gardening. She had a great sense of humor, and was strong, caring, and loving.

She is survived by her husband, Oleg Kheynis; children, Nataliya Kemp and Victoria K. McQueen; grandchildren, Kimberly and RJ Kemp, and Lucy McQueen; and brother, Iliya Kopelevich and family. She was a wonderful person, beloved by many, and will be dearly missed.

Services were held at A.R.N. Funeral & Cremation Services, 11411 North Michigan Rd., Zionsville, IN 46077 on Sunday, December 23rd at 11 AM. Burial was in Congregation Beth-El Zedeck North Cemetery.
