83 years of age. Former resident of Indianapolis and long time resident of Syracuse, IN; passed away January 1, 2016. Don was born in Indianapolis on December 24, 1932 to Joseph and Clara Epstein. He was a graduate of Shortridge High School, Indiana University and New York Law School.
Don was an attorney and later worked as a general contractor. He was a former member of Indianapolis Hebrew Congregation and was a classically trained pianist. He loved classical music and boating on Lake Wawasee, where he had lived for many years.
Don is survived by his beloved wife, Sarah; step-son, William (Denise) Ecklor; 4 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. Don was preceded in death by his step-daughter, Melinda Ecklor.
A memorial service will be held at Aaron-Ruben-Nelson Mortuary, 11411 N. Michigan Road, Zionsville, IN, 46077, on Tuesday, January 5, 2016 at 1:00PM.
