Donald "Don" Albert Long

Donald “Don” Albert Long passed to his eternal heavenly home on April 10, 2021.

Don was born February 11, 1935 to L. Russel and Viola M. McCluskey Long in Crawfordsville, Indiana, who preceded him in death.

Don was a graduate of Crawfordsville High School Class of 1953 and while in high school enjoyed playing drums in the band.

He was a devout Chr istian and had a fierce love for his Savior and was sure about his heavenly forever home.

He is survived by his wife of 64 ½ years, Susan K. (Thompson) Long; three daughters, Cindy Long, Kathy Lawson, and Janet (Scott) Thompson; sister, Janet L. Purnell of Minneapolis, Minnesota; and several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.

Services will be held Monday, April 19 at 11 AM at Colonial Hills Baptist Church, 8140 Union Chapel Road, Indianapolis, IN, 46240.  There will be a short calling from 10:30 AM until the time of the service.
