Doreen Squire Ficara

Doreen Squire Ficara,
born October 24, 1927 in Modbury, England - Died June 20, 2016 at her home in Carmel, IN. A wonderful mother leaving behind four sons, one daughter, 14 grand children and 12 great grand children. Doreen also leaves behind her beloved City of Carmel who she served with distinction. She served as the Executive Director for the Carmel Arts Council from 1984 to 2014 and worked with the Carmel Civic Theater until her passing. Doreen had a long history of community involvement in their histories and the arts. Her energy, devotion and goodness will be sadly missed by all who knew her.

A small service will be held at the Chapel of Carmel United Methodist Church, 621 S. Rangeline Rd at 11:00AM on Saturday June 25th. In Lieu of flowers please make donations to her church. There will be a Memorial Celebration in her honor at the SoHo Cafe & Gallery at 12:30 to 3:00 PM the afternoon of the service.
