Dorothy Juanita Miller (Stafford) Buis,

101, of Zionsville, passed away September 6, 2018. She was born in Ripley County, Indiana to Charles and Rose Miller on January 21, 1917. After graduating from Carmel High School, Dorothy processed accident reports for the Indiana State Police. She was a long-time member of the Speedway American Legion Post 500 Auxiliary. Dottie was a long-time resident of Debary, FL and she returned to the Indianapolis area in 2013.

Dottie is survived by her daughter, Toby Lee Smith (Jim); son, William L. Stafford (Becky); five grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert V. Buis; one brother and six sisters.

A memorial celebration will be held at A.R.N. Funeral & Cremation Services, 11411 N. Michigan Rd., Zionsville on November 10th at noon. Visitation will be held from 10:30 AM until the time of the services.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Speedway American Legion Post 500.
