Dr. Charles Richard Epperson, Jr.
80, passed away November 14, 2017. He was born in Princeton, IN on August 3, 1937, son of Charles R. and Thelma Epperson. He graduated from Evansville Reitz High School in 1955, DePauw University in 1959, and Indiana University School of Dentistry in 1965.
As an USAF Cadet with a medical discharge, Charlie relished his experiences flying jets and flew airplanes for the rest of his life. He was an avid member of the Central Indiana Soaring Society, often piloting the tow plane. In addition to his dental practice, he was an Assistant Professor of Dentistry at the Indiana University, teaching for 28 years. As a member of the Players Club, Charlie, was cast as Linus in two separate productions of Charlie Brown . He and his wife, Judie, became accomplished Hunter Jumper Riders; owning and showing Briard and Affenpincher dogs.
Charlie is survived by his wife of 37 years, Judith Epperson; son, Eric (Marcy) Epperson; and a daughter, Deborah (David) Schwarte.

A funeral service will be held on Friday, November 17. 2017 at Aaron-Ruben-Nelson Mortuary, 11411 N. Michigan Road, Zionsville, IN 46077 at 2:00 PM.
