Earl Pantella
Earl the Pearl has entered the glorious gates of heaven. Earl G. Pantella, age 79, passed away May 6th, 2019 surrounded by his family after a valiant battle with cancer.
The Duke of Earl is survived by his loving wife, Jackie; three children: Lynn (Tom), Nick (Liz) and Lauren (Kyle); and sister MaryAnn (Steve). He also had two grandchildren Olivia and Cali. We on Earth lost a Father, Husband, Grandpa (or Duke / Poppy as his grandkids call him) and friend. Our Father in heaven gained a compassionate soul that served Him well in life.
Earl was born in Bethleham, PA, the son of John and Mary Pantella and grew up in Philadelphia. As a child he was always looking out for his two sisters, Mary Ann and Bea, and the school truancy officer. Earl served in the U.S. Air Force and found his calling - to serve others. After the Air Force, Earl began his successful warehousing and distribution career. His success in business can be directly attributed to his work ethic and his natural ability to connect with other people.
This self-sacrificing man always put his faith and his family first. His generosity, compassion, humor and charm are legendary and these attributes were true until the day he passed. He sacrificed himself so that his family could thrive. Earl supported his children in every way possible.
A Celebration of Life will be held Thursday, May 30th at 6pm at College Park Church 2606 W 96th Street, Indianapolis, IN 46268. All who knew or were touched by Earl are welcome for visitation from 5pm-6pm as well as after the service for fellowship and a light meal. He didn't know a stranger and would encourage anyone to join.
Should friends desire, memorial contributions may be made to College Park Church in remembrance of Earl.
