Ed Ashmore who left an inspirational impact on so many, passed away July 28, 2018. He was 56 and a longtime resident of Indianapolis. Ed was born March 12, 1962 in Indianapolis, Indiana. He was a graduate of North Central High School and Ivy Tech. Ed was a sales representative for Pepperidge Farm. Prior to that, he owned an automobile electronic business.
Ed had a passion for living life to the fullest. He showed excitement for everything he did. He especially enjoyed art and spent countless hours doing beautiful mosaics, water colors, and pottery. He loved flying airplanes, boating, and fishing. He was an avid Colts fan!
He was so kind and compassionate and always willing to help others. His smile and sense of humor uplifted all around him. His devotion to family and friends was cherished by all.
He was preceded in death by his parents, James and Lottie Ashmore; and son, Steven Ashmore. He is survived by his wife, Jeanette (nee Klatte); son, Brian (Jessica); sister, Jane (Karen); brothers, Rob (Jackie) and Dave (Nancy); and many beloved nieces, nephews, family, and friends.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held at Saint Luke's Methodist Church, 100 West 86th Street, at 11 A.M on Saturday, August 4th. Friends may visit from 10 AM until the service.
